I am a licensed psychologist in California, specializing in the treatment of teens and adults who are feeling stuck, troubled, or struggling with repeated patterns of behavior that interfere with a full and satisfying life. I view myself as a "guide" who has the privilege of walking alongside my clients, as we navigate together the journey of self-discovery that culminates in concrete, evidence-based strategies for living a thoughtful and intentional life.
My expertise spans support for individuals who want to overcome anxiety or depression, executives who want to learn how to be a more effective leader, and athletes who want to increase their confidence and learn how to reset after setbacks. I was trained at Stanford University, Lucile Packard Children's Hospital, the Children's Health Council, and the University of California at San Francisco. Having lived and worked in the Bay Area for over 30 years, I understand the unique challenges of navigating the opportunity and pressure here, and I strive to bring a warm and curious approach, as well as a little humor to our work together. |
Evidence-Based Treatment
With my background in counseling psychology and mental and performance training, I am able to expertly weave together science-backed approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Mental Skills to provide short-term relief and long-term benefit.
