Policies and Fees
Please contact me to discuss fees. My hourly fee covers therapy, time spent on phone calls over 15 minutes, consultation with other professionals regarding treatment (e.g., teachers, physicians, previous treating clinicians), and the review of psychological reports and records. All of these complementary treatment activities will be charged at a prorated amount of the hourly fee.
I do not offer a sliding scale, but I can provide services at a reduced fee under some extreme circumstances.
Payment
Typically payment is due at the time of your appointment. However, I am happy to provide a monthly statement complete with all of the appropriate billing codes, so that you can submit your statement to your insurance for reimbursement, if applicable. Acceptable forms of payment include cash or check.
Insurance
I am not an in-network provider for any insurance companies, however, in many instances, I can act as an out-of-network provider for you to receive partial reimbursement from your insurance company. I will complete the professional’s portion of your PPO insurance form and provide a statement for you to send with your insurance form.
Cancellation Policy and Late Arrivals
If you are unable to make your appointment for any reason, please call to cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Except for the most extreme of circumstances, if you are unable to inform me of your missed appointment within the 24 hour window, you will be charged for the session.
My schedule is set in such a way that I cannot unexpectedly offer extended sessions. Thus, if you arrive late, we will still end the session at the scheduled time and you will be charged the regular fee.
